Chipping Norton secured their first victory of the season in Section 1 of the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League at the fourth attempt by defeating Studley Wood 2.5-0.5.

The 2006 champions's wins came from Andy Johnson and Tim Reynolds, plus Danny Hicks and Shaun Kench.

Studley's Matty Hawes and Craig Drew fought back from three down with five to play to earn a half in match one.
