A fine all-round display by Mike Cook enabled Abingdon Vale to beat North Maidenhead by 65 runs in the first round of the Cockspur Cup and set up a tie against Oxford.
Cook top-scored with 39 as Vale reached 165-8 from their 45 overs. He shared a fourth-wicket stand of 82 with Ed Tilley.
North Maidenhead slumped to 46-6 in reply before being bowled out for 100. Cook took an economical 2-16 in nine overs.
Abingdon are now away to Oxford in the second round on May 18.
Meanwhile, Challow & Childrey lost by eight-wickets in their first-round tie at home to Beaconsfield after being bowled out for 97.
Kidlington's home tie with Thame Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The match has been re-scheduled for Sunday at Stratfield Brake.
