Oxford City's Chris Padmore was part of a world record-breaking 4x200m relay team as he struck gold at the World Masters Indoor Championships in Clermont Ferrand, France.
Competing in the vet 55 race, the quartet's time of 1min 41.4secs knocked almost two seconds off the previous world record.
Padmore (pictured) also reached three other finals, finishing sixth in the 60m in 7.84secs, fifth in the 200m (25.24) and fourth in the 400m (56.7), setting personal bests in each event.
Meanwhile, Jackie Charles came away with five medals in the over 65 age group.
She won silver in the pentathlon with a British record score of 3,746 points.
This included a British record of 12.29secs in the 60m hurdles.
Charles went on to win silver in the individual triple jump (7.81m) and bronze in the long jump and 60m hurdles.
She finished with a silver in the 4x200m relay.
Bruce Charles finished eighth in the vet 65 pentathlon, despite needing heavy strapping on both knees.
