Brentford boss Andy Scott says Karleigh Osborne could go back on loan to Oxford, just days after returning from a month-long spell with the U's.

Scott said: "There were a lot of things going on (at Oxford), and they've changed their chairman in the last few days.

"There may be a possibility that we'll send him back there or if any interest comes from a decent non-League club.

"But in the meantime he'll come back into our squad."

U's boss Darren Patterson said: "We were sorry Karleigh had to go back, and in football you never say never."

OXFORD United take on Basingstoke Town in the FA Youth Cup second qualifying round at Oxford City's Court Place Farm on Tuesday night (7.30).

MANSFIELD Town have been docked four points in the Blue Square Premier.
