New mayor

The new mayor of Witney is Alvin Adams, of Corn Street, who is also a Conservative West Oxfordshire District councillor for Witney.

He replaces Chrissie Curry, who has stood down after two years.

James Mills, also a Conservative district councillor, becomes deputy mayor.
