Released without charge

A 21-YEAR-OLD woman arrested in connection with the death of a doorman outside a pub has been released without charge.

Stephen Pinker, 42, of Witney, died from a knife wound in Hollow Way, in Cowley, Oxford, near The Corner House pub, on Tuesday, March 25.

Police arrested a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the death, but yesterday she was released without charge.

Christopher Philp, of Leiden Road, in Wood Farm, Oxford, remains in custody charged with murder, and will appear at Oxford Crown Court on May 30.
