Thieves strip lead from house
THIEVES stole 50ft of lead flashing from a house in Faringdon.
The lead was stolen from a house in Swan Lane between April 29 and May 8.
Police made an appeal for information this afternoon.
PC Simon Jenkin, of Faringdon police station, said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has any information to come forward.
"Theft of metal is increasing across the country, we are working hard to catch those responsible."
