Train brick attack plea

BRITISH Transport Police have appealed for witnesses after vandals hurled a brick at a train near Wolvercote, smashing its windscreen.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the 5.31pm First Great Western train from Oxford to Worcester was attacked just before 5.40pm on Friday, April 25.

The train driver saw three youths on a bridge over the line and described one as wearing a black and white hooded top, while a second had a BMX bike.

Anyone with information should call BTP on 0800 405040.
