Man rescued from fire

A man was rescued from a house in Didcot last night after a fire at his home.
Police officers rescued the man from an upstairs bedroom at the semi-detached house in Lea Grove, at 3.35am, and he was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment.
Fire crews from Abingdon, Didcot, and Wallingford tackled the blaze in kitchen.
