TWO men captured in a police sting have been charged with multiple offences at Greenwich Magistrates' Court.
The unsuspecting pair were caught in an ambush by Flying Squad officers outside Unwins off-licence, Kent House Lane, Penge, on June 24.
Francis Carbon, aged 19, of Roman Road, East Ham, London, was charged with attempted armed robbery, six armed robberies, armed robbery of a minicab driver in east London and various firearms offences.
Andrew Docherty, aged 58, of Wingate Road, Mitcham, was charged with the same offences.
The two are also being questioned by police in connection with the murder of Michael Reaney, 54, in his Streatham Common flat on June 10.
Both men have been remanded in custody until the trial begins on a date to be set.
