Naked man ran across A420

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself on the A420 at Kingston Bagpuize.

At 4.18pm on Friday a woman was driving from Faringdon towards Oxford on the A420, when she neared the roundabout at Kingston Bagpuize, a naked man ran across the carriageway in front of her.

The man came from the right hand side and ran towards a hedge where a car was parked with the engine running and its lights on.

The man is white, slim, about 6ft with fair hair.

PC Sarah Wilson, said: “This is very strange behaviour and could have been a dare or a joke but could have had very serious consequences. The man distracted drivers and could have caused a collision.

“The man is thought to have got into the passenger side of the car so I appeal to anyone who saw this man, or saw a person in a, possibly burgundy, car on A420 acting suspiciously to contact me.”
