A lorry has shed its load of thousands of metal brackets on the A34 Hinksey Hill interchange.
The lorry was travelling towards the junction along the A423 southern bypass when ten pallets fell on to the road shortly before 1pm.
Police have closed a section of the junction but all roads are open to traffic.
The clean-up is expected to last until about 5pm.
