Trains are running again between Oxford and Bicester Town after signalling problems in the Oxford area caused services to be cancelled.
First Great Western supplied passengers with replacement bus services between Oxford and Bicester after the problems emerged at 6am today.
The technical difficulties also caused 20-minute delays on services running from Oxford to Didcot Parkway.
Adrian Booth, a spokesman for First Great Western, said trains were running again after Network Rail fixed the error at 9.30am.
He added: “Trains are running again but there may be some delays to services as a result of this morning’s disruption.”
