Girl denies perverting justice

A girl accused of making up a kidnapping outside an Oxford shop has denied a charge of perverting the course of justice.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Oxford Youth Court yesterday.
Police investigated reports in April that a girl was dragged into a sports car outside the Spar shop, in Dunnock Way, Blackbird Leys, and held against her will.
The teeanger was granted bail until a pre-trial hearing on December 10. Her trial is due to start next February.
