Dozens of bunches of flowers have been left at the scene where schoolgirl Sarah Waterhouse, of Marcham, died yesterday morning.

The 17-year-old Larkmead School pupil was killed after a crash with a coach at the junction of Marcham Road and Colwell Drive, Abingdon, as she cycled to school.

Friends and family have left scores of floral tributes at the scene.

A message from Sandy and Holly said: "You had such a sweet spirit, you will be greatly missed."

Another from Smurf said: "RIP Sarah, never be forgotten."

A card said: "Many memories you have left behind."

An anonymous card read: "This should never have happened to you, you were the sweetest girl. Thank you for all the help you gave me with my homework."

A message from Nick said: "There were more people that cared for you that I don't think even you could imagine.

"I will never forget the kindness you showed me and all the help you have ever given me.

"I have learned a lot from you and you were cruelly taken from us. Always in our hearts."

James said: "I will miss you, you were such a kind and good person."

Eva's message read: "We will always remember you and you will be with us in the heart."

Another card read: "You were a very special young lady and you will be missed by all who knew you. Love from Kelly, Aimee, Ryan, Amy, Beth, Nick and Jeanette."

A card from Ali and Zoe said: "Rest in peace, we will always think of you."
