Oxford United manager Darren Patterson has leapt to the defence of striker Yemi Odubade following his poor display in the goalless draw against Woking.
Odubade was considerably less than 100 per cent, which partly explained his disappointing afternoon on Monday.
Patterson insisted it would be wrong to single him out for blame from what was a collectively poor showing.
"Yemi has been absolutely superb," he said. "In the last home game he was magnificent for us. His knee was a little bit sore and he wasn't himself.
"We played him out wide and he was just out of sorts, but I don't think it's fair on Yemi to pick him out." f=85 Helvetica Heavy l=8.5q=lSORE: Yemi Odubade f=85 Helvetica Heavy l=8.5q=lWHAT'S GOING OFF!
