UPDATE: Man dies in bypass crash

A man has died after his silver BMW was involved in a collision with a roundabout and a lorry this morning.
The man, in his 20s, died at the scene of the crash at the Littlemore roundabout on Oxford's Eastern Bypass just after 2am.
Two men also in the car, which was travelling from the Cowley direction, were taken to hospital with broken bones but their injures were not life threatening.
The driver of the lorry was thought not to have been injured.
The A4142 was closed in both directions for more than eight hours for collision investigators to examine the scene and so the emergency services could recover the vehicles.
It was reopened at 10.24am.
Anyone with information should call Pc Andy Wickens at Abingdon Roads Policing Department on 08458 505505.

The other two lads were Ishi (Pathan) & a white lad who showed up to flower laying at the Rose Hill roundabout this afternoon. He's ok, just a broken arm. Ishi has more broken bones but is still in hospital. Prayers & good will to him, he'll be ok. It's all tragic. Hope ya mend up soon Ishi & are up & on ya feet soon. Thank God you & other white lad (who we don't know name) are ok. RIP Rishi, we will miss ya mate.

Before last week, my one experience of Nando’s had been a rather nasty meal at its Cowley Road operation shortly after it opened six or seven years ago in what had previously been the Prince of Wales pub. Please mind the dragon, I was urged. I was grateful for the warning, even though the slinky green creature, which comes complete with a crimson mouth and the brightest of white teeth, was a bit difficult to miss. By chance, the dragon is resting on a piece of floor that is familiar with bright colours — a printing press sat there until recently, turning out brochures and book covers in all the colours of the rainbow.

This is a great show for children of all ages, even those drawing their pension! In the Village Hall at Wytham The Story Machine had the audience in stitches. Professor Ivor Bumm and his assistant Dr Willy Whee were there to present their new invention – a machine that could tell any story, with special brilliant effects and a cast of hundreds of androids.
