T ipples Brewery, which is just a few miles from Norwich, was founded in 2004 by Jason Tipple. The brewery uses a traditional full mash method to create an exciting range of bottle conditioned beers.
Ginger
ABV 3.8%
£1.95
Fresh ginger is added to this light amber ale during the last stages of brewing, so the first sip delivers an amazing rush of ginger, mingled with a positive bitter flavour. Named after a First World War pilot, this light amber ale is delighfully refreshing.
The Hanged Monk
ABV 3.8%
£1.95
This traditional dark mild is named after a monk, executed in the time of William the Conqueror, whose ghost is said to appear at St Benets Abbey, Ludham. It has a sweet mild flavour, with the merest suggestion of chocolate and liquorice.
Elm Hill Gold
ABV 4%
£2.05
Named after the cobbled street in Norwich, that dates back to Tudor times, in which Tipple's Brewing Shop now stands, this rich, full bodied golden ale is beautifully smooth, with fresh hoppy notes and a superb dry finish.
