POLICE searching for missing woman Maria Pereira have today been searching areas surrounding her home and have conducted another search of her house to try to find clues to her whereabouts.
Maria Pereira, 46, who lives in Catslip, Nettlebed, has not been seen since 10.30am on Sunday, December 3, at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Henley. Her mobile phone has been switched off since.
The police helicopter has been used in the search as well as specialist underwater search teams.
Acting Det Insp Chris Biddle, from Abingdon CID, said: "We are now extremely concerned because no one has heard from her. I appeal to Maria to contact us to let us know she is safe."
She is 5ft 2in tall, medium build, black hair and has dark brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black rain coat with a fur hood, and was carrying a black handbag.
