Chiltern Railways has warned customers of expected service disruption from upcoming ASLEF (Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen) union action.

The train drivers union strike will limit regular timetables starting December 1 causing trains to be busier than usual.

Trains between London stations and Oxford, Birmingham Moor Street and Aylesbury Vale Parkway will be greatly reduced.

Chiltern Railways will not cover routes to Wembley Stadium on December 1, and no services will operate on December 3.

There will be disruptions everyday until December 9.

The company has advised customers travelling with more than one operator to check their full journey with the relevant companies for connecting journeys next week.

The industrial action affects multiple train companies, and more information on service changes on Chiltern Railways can be found on their website.
